Abstract:
This organic electroluminescent device (1) comprises a supporting substrate (2), an organic electroluminescent element (3), a moisture absorption layer (4) containing a moisture-absorbing component, and a moisture-proof layer (5) that is provided on the moisture absorption layer (4) and contains a moisture-proofing component. A plurality of mixed layers (61, 62, 63) containing the moisture-absorbing component and the moisture-proofing component are interposed between the moisture absorption layer (4) and the moisture-proof layer (5). Among the plurality of mixed layers, the moisture absorption layer (4)-side mixed layer (61) has a larger content of the moisture-absorbing component than the moisture-proof layer (5)-side mixed layer (63).
