Abstract:
An organic electroluminescent element which comprises a substrate, one pair of electrodes that includes an anode and a cathode and that is disposed on the substrate, and one or more organic layers that are disposed between the electrodes and that include a light-emitting layer, wherein at least one compound represented by the formula is contained in any of the organic layers. The organic electroluminescent element can minimize the occurrence of dark spots during driving. In the formula, Q is a C10-30 aromatic fused hydrocarbon ring or a C8-30 aromatic fused heterocycle, Ars are each independently a C6-30 arylene group or a C3-30 heteroarylene group, Ls are each independently a divalent linking group, and n is an integer of 3 to 5.
