Abstract:
An organic electroluminescent element which sequentially comprises a positive electrode, a first organic layer, a second organic layer and a negative electrode in this order, and which is configured such that: the first organic layer contains a first compound and a second compound; the second organic layer contains a third compound; the first compound is a compound represented by formula (1); the second compound is a delayed fluorescent compound; and the third compound is a compound represented by formula (3). In formula (1), X represents a nitrogen atom or a carbon atom that is bonded to Y; and Y represents a hydrogen atom or a substituent. In formula (3), each of X1-X3 independently represents a nitrogen atom or CR1; each of Ar1 and Ar2 independently represents a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group having 6-30 ring-forming carbon atoms, or the like; and A represents a group represented by formula (3A). In formula (3A), HAr represents a group represented by formula (3B).
