Abstract:
An organic electroluminescent element which sequentially comprises a positive electrode, a first organic layer and a negative electrode in this order, and which is configured such that: the first organic layer contains a first compound, a second compound and a third compound; the first compound is a compound represented by formula (1); the second compound is a delayed fluorescent compound; and the third compound is a compound represented by formula (3). In formula (1), X represents a nitrogen atom or a carbon atom that is bonded to Y; and Y represents a hydrogen atom or a substituent. In formula (3), n represents a number of 1-4; and XB represents a group represented by formula (3A). In formula (3A), each of Ar1 and Ar2 independently represents a monovalent or polyvalent aromatic hydrocarbon group; and Cz represents a group represented by formula (3B-1) or the like.
