Abstract:
The present invention provides an organic EL element having, in order, at least an anode, a hole transport layer, an emissive layer, an electron transport layer, and a cathode, wherein the organic EL element is characterized in that the hole transport layer includes an arylamine compound represented by general formula (1), and the emissive layer includes a dihydroindenoindole derivative represented by general formula (2) or a carbazole derivative represented by general formula (3). This organic EL element is highly efficient and has a low drive voltage and, in particular, a long service life.
