ORGANIC ELECTROLUMINESCENT ELEMENT
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2017/159152
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is an organic electroluminescent element (organic EL element) which is driven at a low voltage and has a high luminous efficiency and a long service life. An organic EL element which comprises one or more light emitting layers and one or more electron transport layers between a positive electrode and a negative electrode, said electrodes facing each other, and wherein at least one electron transport layer contains an indolocarbazole compound represented by general formula (1) and an electron donor. In the formula, ring A represents an aromatic hydrocarbon ring represented by formula (1a); ring B represents a heterocyclic ring represented by formula (1b); L represents a single bond or an aromatic hydrocarbon group; each X represents N or C-Ar1, and at least one X represents N; and each of Y and Ar1 represents a hydrogen atom, an aromatic hydrocarbon group or an aromatic heterocyclic group.
