Title:
ORGANIC ELECTROLUMINESCENT ELEMENT
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2022/004709
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is an organic EL element which has long lifespan properties while having low driving voltage and high power efficiency. This organic EL element includes one or more light emitting layers between a positive electrode and a negative electrode which are opposite each other, wherein at least one light emitting layer contains a light-emitting dopant material and host materials including a first host material, a second host material, and a third host material. The LUMO energy of the first host material is not more than -1.95 eV. The expression The expression LM2≥LM3≥LM1 is satisfied, where LM1, LM2, and LM3 are the LUMO energies of the first host material, the second host material, and the third host material, respectively. Indolocarbazole compounds represented by general formula (1) are suitable as the first host material. Bis-carbazole compounds represented by general formula (2) are suitable as the second host material. Indolocarbazole compounds represented by general formula (5) are suitable as the third host material.
