Abstract:
An outdoor unit (50) for an air conditioner is provided with at least: a heat exchanger (7); a fan (4); a compressor (9); and a box-shaped casing (1) which has an air inlet (6) and an air outlet (2) formed therein, and which has, integrated therein, the heat exchanger (7), the fan (4), and the compressor (9). The compressor (9) is disposed in a place outside an air course in which inflowing air from the air inlet (6) flows to the air outlet (2) via the heat exchanger (7) and the fan (4). The heat exchanger (7) is configured from a plurality of heat exchange units. The heat exchange units are zigzaggedly disposed.
