Abstract:
One aspect of this outdoor unit is the outdoor unit of a refrigeration cycle device, the outdoor unit comprising: a housing that has a first chamber and a second chamber; a heat exchanger that has a heat exchanger part housed in the first chamber and a collecting tube housed in the second chamber; and a shielding member that is housed inside the housing. The heat exchanger part has a plurality of heat exchanger tubes. The heat exchanger tubes each have a connecting end that protrudes into the second chamber and is connected to the collecting tube. The shielding member has: a body part that is fixed to the heat exchanger part and shields at least a part of the gap between the first chamber and the second chamber; and a positioning part that is provided to the body part and with which the collecting tube contacts.
