Abstract:
Provided is an outdoor unit configured so that water does not flow to a portion thereof, such as the end of an air discharge opening, where the speed of air flow is low. An outdoor unit (3) has a lateral rib (321) provided on the upper surface of an eaves section (32) and extending in the direction intersecting the air discharge direction. Water dropping onto the upper surface of the eaves section (32) collects at the corner between the surface of the eaves section (32) and the lateral rib (321), and the collected water can easily move along the rib by being pushed by water droplets collecting subsequently. The lateral rib (321) conducts water to at least one of a left end section (32a), a right end section (32b), or a center section (32c).
