Abstract:
An outer package material for power storage devices, the outer package material being composed of a multilayer body which sequentially comprises at least a base material layer, a barrier layer and a thermally fusible resin layer in this order, wherein: the barrier layer contains an aluminum alloy foil that has a composition containing 0.2% by mass to 2.0% by mass of Fe and 0.1% by mass to 5.0% by mass of Mg; the thermally fusible resin layer is composed of a single layer or a plurality of layers; and a first thermally fusible resin layer that forms a surface of the multilayer body among the thermally fusible resin layers has a logarithmic decrement ∆E of 0.25 or less at 140°C as determined by rigid pendulum measurement.
