Abstract:
The present invention provides an over-the-air updating method, an update server, a terminal device, and an Internet of things system. An over-the-air updating method in one embodiment is applicable to an update server in an Internet of things system. The Internet of things system further comprises a terminal device. The update server is communicationally connected to the terminal device. The method comprises the following steps: generating an encryption public key and an encryption private key which match each other; sending the encryption public key to the terminal device; generating an update key, and encrypting the update key by means of the encryption private key; sending the encrypted update key to the terminal device, so that the terminal device decrypts the encrypted update key by means of the encryption public key; encrypting update data by using the update key; sending the encrypted update data to the terminal device, so that the terminal decrypts the update data by using the decrypted update key, and carrying out data update by using the update data.
