Abstract:
Provided is an over-ball diameter measurement device having high measurement value reproducibility. An over-ball diameter measurement device (1) is provided with a Y axis around which a pair of probes (2U, 2L) synchronously reciprocates in a direction perpendicular to an X axis. The over-ball diameter for odd numbers of teeth is measured through the rotation around a θ axis by a prescribed amount and the displacement of the Y axis from the center line of the gear shaft by a prescribed amount.
