Abstract:
Provided is a packaging material for a battery, in which the ability for the battery to be continuously produced is exceptional. A packaging material for a battery, said material comprising a laminated body having at least a base material layer, a barrier layer, and a heat-fusible resin layer in the stated order, the heat-fusible resin layer containing a lubricant. In a 24°C, 50% RH environment, a Vickers shape indenter is pushed into the barrier-layer-side surface of the heat-fusible resin layer at a loading rate of 5 mN/10 s using a Picodentor® HM500.The depth to which the indenter is pushed into the heat-fusible resin layer at the point when the indenter load has reached 3.0 mN is 5.8 µm or less.
