Description:
PACKAGING WITH INTEGRATED CARRYING MEMBERS

FIELD OF THE INVENTION

[001] The present invention relates generally to product packaging, more specifically but not by way of limitation, a product package that is configured to surroundably mount a package wherein the product package includes an integrated carrying member to assist in the transportation of the product.

BACKGROUND

[002] As is known in the art, companies spend millions of dollars every year designing packaging for various products. Packaging can play a significant role in not only the marketing of the product but the engagement of the consumer and their preferences. There are a multitude of types of packaging and one type of package is configured to retain a plurality of individual products that may be sold as a group. By way of example but not limitation, beverage cans are often sold by the case and as such the package is typically manufactured from cardboard and is operable to retain twelve or twenty-four individual bottles or cans. Another product that is often sold in bulk is toilet paper and paper towels. These items are often sold in large quantities wherein the entire quantity is wrapped in the packaging which is typically plastic wherein the plastic is surroundably mounted around the product to keep the individual units together.

[003] One problem with the conventional packaging like that available for paper towels and toilet paper is that it can be difficult to carry and transport. The conventional packaging that is available for items such as but not limited to toilet paper and paper towels is the requirement for a user to essentially wrap their arm around the entire product and bias against their body. As these products are often purchased with other grocery items, the conventional packaging makes it difficult to carry them with other items when returning from the store. [004] It is intended within the scope of the present invention to provide a product packaging that is configured to surroundably mount a plurality of similar items wherein the packaging includes integrated carrying members so as to facilitate the carrying and transportation of the product.
