Abstract:
Disclosed are a packet transmission method, apparatus, and system. The method comprises: the first node in a specified path adds a path identifier of the specified path to a packet, and places the path identifier in an extension layer, a destination address field, or an outer tag of a packet header, the path identifier being used to instruct forwarding of the packet; after the path identifier is added to the packet, a forwarding node in the specified path forwards the packet to a downstream node in the specified path according to a forwarding entry in the path identifier.
