Abstract:
A page resource loading method and apparatus. When a webpage is loaded, the loading of at least partial webpage resource in the webpage can be prevented so as to save traffic. The method comprises: in a browsing process, after parsing an acquired page file (S100), determining a loading range of the page resource based on a parsing result, wherein the loading range of the page resource includes a current screen display range, or a predetermined distance range beyond the current screen display range but within a predetermined distance, or a predetermined distance range including the current screen display range and beyond the current screen display range but within a predetermined distance (S101); and loading a page resource in a loading range of the page resource (S102). In the case that the webpage resource is not loaded so as to save the traffic when the webpage is initially loaded, partial page resource is adaptively loaded in a browsing process to be browsed by a user, so that smooth browsing of a webpage including the page resource and saving of a network resource can be well balanced.
