Abstract:
A pallet transport device (10) is provided with: a pallet feeding mechanism (40) for transporting a pallet (21) along a pallet rail (16); a rail raising/lowering mechanism (30) for moving a rising/lowering rail (16b) between a first position and a second position; and a pallet moving mechanism (50) for moving the pallet along the rising/lowering rail located at the second position. The pallet feeding mechanism is configured so as to transport pallets mounted on a stationary rail and the rising/lowering rail which is located at the first position, along the stationary rail and the rising/lowering rail which is located at the first position, and so as not to transport a pallet mounted on the rising/lowering rail located at the second position.
