Abstract:
A pants-type absorbent article (1) which includes: an absorbent body (10) that is provided with an absorbent core (11) and is folded at a lower end to form a front side and a rear side; and a front belt portion (23) that has a front extensible region (23s) that stretches and contracts in the left-right direction. The absorbent core (11) has a front portion (10F), which is a portion folded to the front side in the front-rear direction, and the absorbent core (11) has, in the front portion (10F), a pair of inclined low basis weight regions (31) which incline from the top to the bottom in the vertical direction and from the outer sides in the left-right direction to the center and which have basis weights that are lower than the surrounding regions. The entirety of the pair of inclined low basis weight regions (31) overlaps the front extensible region (23s).
