Abstract:
The present invention comprises: a pair of support arms movably supported along the axial direction of a support shaft of a frame; a drive device that causes the pair of support arms to approach and separate; and a pair of chucks that are rotatably mounted on tip portions of the pair of support arms and are capable of supporting a paper roll. The chucks include: a chuck main body that has a shape in which an outer diameter decreases from a base portion toward a tip portion and in which a plurality of guide parts along the axial direction are provided on an outer circumferential surface; and a plurality of support members that include a receiving part movably supported by the plurality of guide parts and capable of contacting an end of the paper roll, and a support part capable of contacting an inner circumferential surface of the paper roll. Further provided are: a movement device that includes a movement member capable of contacting the plurality of support members and that can move the plurality of support members to the tip portion side by the movement member; and a force applying device that applies force in a direction in which the plurality of support members and the movement member approach each other.
