Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to efficiently remove paper sheets which have accumulated in a plurality of stackers. Provided is a paper sheet sorting device, comprising: an identification unit 210 which identifies a paper sheet which is conveyed from a hopper which is filled with the paper sheets; a plurality of stackers 245, 240 which sort and accumulate by type a plurality of types of the paper sheets which have been identified by the identification unit; a control unit 250 which controls the conveyance to the stackers of the paper sheets which have been identified by the identification unit 210 and manages the number of paper sheets which are accumulated in each of the stackers; and a display unit 246 which displays the accumulation state of the paper sheets in the plurality of stackers. If the number of paper sheets which are accumulated in the stackers reaches a prescribed number of sheets, and if the prescribed number of sheets has been reached in a plurality of the stackers, the control unit 250 determines from which stacker the paper sheets are to be removed first, and instructs a display change of the display unit.
