Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a parachute that can be deployed more quickly than conventional ones, a safety device having the parachute, and an aerial vehicle having the safety device. [Solution] An umbrella body 40 of a parachute has a substantially hemispherical shape, includes a first shock-absorbing section 40A, a second shock-absorbing section 40B, and a shape retaining section 40C, and has a vent hole 40a formed at the top and an umbrella edge 40b constituting an opening. The first shock-absorbing section 40A and the second shock-absorbing section 40B are formed in a state in which a plurality of base fabric pieces are arranged such that the center line L connecting the apex P and the geometric center position of each base fabric piece and the extending directions of the warp and the weft of the base fabric pieces intersect with one another. The second shock-absorbing section 40B is less likely to stretch than the first shock-absorbing section 40A, and is more likely to stretch in the direction along the center line L than the shape retaining section 40C, which is relatively unlikely to stretch.
