Abstract:
A parallel optic fibre corner coupling assembly, used for the parallel coupling between an optical fiber array and a laser array and comprising an optical fiber positioning substrate (1), a cover plate (2) and several optic fibres (3), wherein an end face of each optic fibre (3) is polished into an inclined plane at 42.5 or 47.5 degree inclinations, a metallic reflective film (4) is plated on the inclined plane of the optic fibre (3), and the produced beneficial effects are that: an end face of each optic fibre (3) is polished into an inclined plane at 42.5 or 47.5 degree inclinations to reduce intermodal dispersion, increase the transmission distance of an optical signal in a subsequent optical fibre (3); and the metallic reflective film (4) is coated on the inclined plane of the optical fiber (3), so that the high reflectivity can also be ensured when the inclined plane of the optical fiber (3) is covered with glue.
