Abstract:
A part stacking unit (1) is formed by winding a hose (4), which links two prescribed processes on a part production line, into a helical shape on the outer circumference of a cylindrical central member (3); the dimensions of the inner diameter of the hose (4) are set so as to allow passage of only one part that is in a prescribed orientation; and the part in the hose (4) is transported by applying a torsional vibration from a vibration generator (2) to the part stacking unit (1). In this manner, parts discharged from an upstream process can be stacked in the hose (4) in the order arranged in the upstream process and can be transported to a downstream process without generating surface flaws due to collisions between parts.
