Title:
PARTICLE DETECTION SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2016/063491
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention provides a particle detection system capable of suppressing the adhesion of particles to the surface of an insulation member. In a particle detection system 1 provided with a particle sensor 10 having a detection unit 11 exposed to a gas to be measured EG, the particle sensor 10 has an insulation member 121, 100 having a gas contact surface 121s, 101s the reduction in the insulation of which results in the reduction of the capacity of the detection unit 11 to detect particles S and a heater 150, 105 for heating at least a part of the gas contact surface 121s, 101s of the insulation member 121, 100, and an adhesion suppression energization means 225, 223, S4, S10 is provided for energizing the heater 150, 105 so as to raise the temperature of the gas contact surface 121s, 101s to an adhesion suppression temperature Td that is lower than a particle burning temperature Tb at which adhered particles SA adhered to the gas contact surface 121s, 101 burn and is such that the adhesion of particles S to the gas contact surface 121s, 101s is low compared to when there is no energization.
