Abstract:
To provide a parts feeder in which a component causing a blockage can be reliably discharged from a component transportation path. The present invention is provided with: a component housing part (21) for housing components (P1); a component transportation path (30) for transporting the components (P1) in the component housing part (21) so as to arrange the components (P1) in a prescribed orientation; a detection device (40) provided to the component transportation path (30), the detection device (40) detecting a component (P1) blockage from the state of transportation of the components (P1); a discharge device (50) provided to the component transportation path (30), the discharge device (50) expanding the component transportation path (30) on the basis of information from the detection device (40) and discharging the components (P1) into the component housing part (21); and an air jetting device (60) provided on the component transportation path (30) downstream of the discharge device (50), the air jetting device (60) jetting air onto the components (P1) and discharging the components (P1) into the component housing part (21).
