Abstract:
A password generation method using a biometric information-based confidence interval set according to the present invention includes: a step (110) of inputting, by using an input means of a user terminal, a predetermined ID in an ID input field provided in a website, and selecting a password input field for input of a password; a step (120) of photographing an image of the user's face of the user terminal by driving a camera of the user terminal as the password input field is selected; a step (130) of extracting biometric information of the user's face included in the image and acquiring an access authority to the confidence interval set stored in the user terminal; a step (140) of extracting the site code of the website by the user terminal; a step (150) of generating a password by applying the frequency of password re-registration to the confidence interval set and the site code; and a step (160) of causing the generated password to be automatically input in the password input field. In addition, a password generation apparatus using a confidence interval set includes: a camera (310) which is mounted on a user terminal, the camera being driven to photograph an image of the user's face of the user terminal as a password input field of a website is selected through an input means of the user terminal; an image processing unit (320) for extracting biometric information from the user's face included in the image and comparing the biometric information to the confidence interval set stored in the user terminal; an extraction unit (330) for extracting the site code of the website by the user terminal; a generation unit (340) for generating a password by applying the frequency of password re-registration to the confidence interval set and the site code; and an input unit (350) for automatically inputting the generated password in the password input field.
