Abstract:
Provided are a path planning apparatus (10, 200) and method, a surgical system, and a computer-readable storage medium. The path planning apparatus (10, 200) comprises a processor (220). The processor (220) is configured to plan a path for implanting an electrode wire into the cranium of a patient, the planned path satisfying the following condition: if the electrode wire is implanted into the cranium of the patient according to the path, the electrode wire can be in contact with the anterior limb of internal capsule and the nucleus accumbens of one of the hemispheres in the brain of the patient at the same time (S101), wherein the electrode wire is used for delivering electrical stimulation to the anterior limb of internal capsule and the nucleus accumbens. The path planned by the path planning apparatus (10, 200) enables the electrode wire to be in contact with the anterior limb of internal capsule and the nucleus accumbens of one of the hemispheres at the same time, so that the electrode wire can deliver electrical stimulation to the anterior limb of internal capsule and the nucleus accumbens at the same time, and treatment in combination with electrical stimulation is achieved, showing better treatment effects on diseases such as addictive behaviors, depression, and obsessive-compulsive disorder.
