Abstract:
A path-planning device for planning a path on which a machine that can transport an object moves, the path-planning device having: a graph acquisition unit for acquiring a graph that includes a plurality of nodes corresponding to a plurality of locations and a plurality of edges corresponding to a plurality of roads connecting the plurality of locations; a weight determination unit for determining weights to be allocated to the plurality of edges; and a path determination unit for selecting a start point and an end point from the plurality of nodes and determining, on the basis of the weights allocated to the plurality of edges, a path from the start point to the end point. The weight determination unit determines the weights to be allocated to the plurality of edges on the basis of the weight of the object being transported by the machine during movement on the road corresponding to each edge, and a difference in altitude between the locations corresponding to the two nodes connected by each edge.
