Abstract:

A pedestrian search method and apparatus, relating to the field of video surveillance. The method comprises: extracting first feature data, second feature data, and third feature data of a target pedestrian image, the target pedestrian image being an image of a pedestrian to be searched, the first feature data, the second feature data, and the third feature data respectively comprising multiple whole body high dimension feature data, multiple upper body high dimension feature data, and multiple lower body high dimension feature data of the target pedestrian image; on the basis of the he first feature data, the second feature data, and the third feature data, filtering the saved high dimension feature data to obtain a target feature data set, and determining pedestrian search results by means of the target feature data set. The extracted high dimension feature data comprises whole body, upper body, and lower body high dimension feature data, ensuring the similarity of the whole body, upper body, and lower body in the pedestrian search results determined on the basis of the extracted high dimension feature data, and improving the search precision.
