Abstract:
A peer-to-peer communication method and a mobile device. The method comprises: determining, according to the remaining power of a wireless soft access point (soft AP) and the remaining power of multiple clients in a peer-to-peer communication network, one client of the multiple clients that is to perform role switching with the soft AP; determining an optimal switching time for role switching; sending a role switching message to the determined client at the determined optimal switching time, wherein the role switching message comprises a data transmission state; and receiving a role switching acknowledgement message sent by the determined client. Also disclosed is a corresponding mobile device. By switching the roles of a wireless soft AP and one or more clients at an optimal switching time, mobile devices can take turns serving as the wireless soft AP, so that fairness of power consumption between the wireless soft AP and the client can be effectively achieved.
