Abstract:
Provided are a repair method and repair chip for a remanufactured ink cartridge, and a remanufactured ink cartridge. According to the characteristics of a communication protocol between an original chip of an ink cartridge and a printer, the repair chip determines the type of a command sent by the printer only according to the signal characteristics of a small number of printer circuits monitored by the repair chip, determines, only according to signals on the small number of printer circuits monitored by the repair chip, data needing to be obtained by the printer when it is determined that the command sent by the printer is an valid data reading command, and returns the data to the printer by means of a data line of the printer. The repair chip does not need to monitor all the circuits of a printer and only needs to monitor an enable line and a data line of the printer as well as 0 to (n-1) auxiliary lines, so that the number of contacts electrically connected to the printer and an original chip is reduced, the welding difficulty and workloads during a remanufacturing process of an ink cartridge are reduced, and the risk of damage to the ink cartridge during a repair process is reduced from the source.
