Title:
PELLETS OF SAPONIFIED ETHYLENE/VINYL ESTER COPOLYMER, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING PELLETS OF SAPONIFIED ETHYLENE/VINYL ESTER COPOLYMER
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2015/098884
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention provides pellets of a saponified ethylene/vinyl ester copolymer which exhibit excellent melt mouldability, and with which the formation of cracks and chips and the generation of fine powder can be inhibited during transportation. These pellets of the saponified ethylene/vinyl ester copolymer are obtained from a resin composition including a saponified ethylene/vinyl ester copolymer resin. The amount of fine powder generated after the pellets of the saponified ethylene/vinyl ester copolymer have been subjected to an impact grinding test using a ball mill is not more than 400 ppm.
