Abstract:
A peptide of the present invention has the activity of inhibiting the expression of inflammatory cytokine genes, inflammatory cytokine proteins, or proteins related to inflammatory cytokine signaling in lung cells where inflammatory responses are induced. In addition, the peptide can reduce the number of neutrophils in lung tissues where inflammatory responses are induced. Therefore, the peptide of the present invention can be used as an active substance useful for the treatment, prevention or amelioration of lung inflammatory diseases.
