Title:
PEPTIDES OF IRF-1
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO2004089975
Kind Code:
A3
Abstract:
The present invention relates to peptides which serve to activate the tumour suppressor protein p53 by enhancing p300 binding of p53. The present invention also allows the screening of molecules which effect binding of IRF-1 to p300. Molecules so identified may be used as potential tumour suppressor agents or alternatively immune-suppression or anti-inflammatory agents. The present invention also relates to the treatment of tumours using peptides of IRF-1.
