Abstract:
This petroleum resin is a polymer of a raw material component that includes dicyclopentadiene and a C9 fraction containing an aromatic olefine, wherein the ratio C2/C1 (mass ratio) of the content C2 of the aromatic olefine to the content C1 of the dicyclopentadiene in the raw material component is 0.35-0.5, and the softening point of the petroleum resin is at least 150ºC.
