Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide an ultraviolet-curable composition excellent in terms of printability, ultraviolet-light reactivity in the presence of oxygen, and tackiness at ordinary temperature and high temperatures. This ultraviolet-curable composition comprises: a hardening component comprising (meth)acrylate monomers and a crosslinking component; and an ultraviolet hardener. The (meth)acrylate monomers include a monomer, a homopolymer of which has a glass transition temperature of -70°C to -30°C, in an amount of 50-85 wt% with respect to the hardening component, which is taken as 100 wt%. A hardened object obtained by applying the composition in a thickness of 150 μm to a base and irradiating the coating film, without sealing the upper surface thereof, with ultraviolet light having wavelengths of 315-480 nm in the atmosphere under the conditions of an irradiance of 90 mW/cm2 and a dose of 1,350 mJ/cm2 has a gel content of 0.4-78%, a glass transition temperature of -35°C to 10°C, a reactant conversion of 83% or higher, and a proportion of the reactant conversion in the atmosphere-side surface to that in the base-side surface of 93% or higher.
