Abstract:

A pharmaceutical composition of docetaxel comprising effective amount of docetaxel, Tween and cosolvents, wherein the cosolvent is at least one member selected from the group consisting of glycerol and polyethylene glycol. The composition is an injectable solution or a freeze-dried injectable powder. The solubility of docetaxel is improved by adding Tween and cosolvents. The preparation of the pharmaceutical composition is also disclosed.
