Abstract:
There are provided: an object lens (10) that concentrates exciting light of an absorption wavelength band of an object under observation into the interior of a sample (S); an optical system (27) for detected light that images a point source image of detection light of a wavelength different from that of the exciting light at the centre of a pupil (9) of the object lens (10) and that directs detection light onto the sample (S) by means of the object lens (10); optical scanning sections (5a, 5b) that scan the sample (S) by deflecting the exciting light and the detection light that are incident on the object lens (10); and optical detection sections (22 to 24, 28) that detect reflected light of the detection light originating from the sample (S).
