Abstract:
The present application provides a photodetection method and a photodetector. The photodetector may comprise a first electrode and a second electrode, and a perovskite layer between the first electrode and the second electrode. In the embodiments of the present application, the photodetector is polarized by using an external bias voltage to apply a certain electric field, so that conductive ions in the perovskite layer migrate to a first interface between the first electrode and the perovskite layer, and to a second interface between the second electrode and the perovskite layer respectively. Thus, a self-built electric field is generated inside the perovskite layer to directionally separate charge carriers and transport same to the electrodes on two sides. The photodetector does not need an external drive voltage for current detection. Therefore, the photodetector obtained in the present application has the characteristics of a simple device structure and self-driving.
