Abstract:
A photoelectric composite connector is provided with a first retaining member for retaining a first optical fiber, a first mating member having a first electrical connection part, a second retaining member for retaining a second optical fiber, and a second mating member having a second electrical connection part. The first and second mating members are configured to be capable of mating with each other so that the first and second optical fibers are optically connected and the first and second electrical connection parts are electrically connected. The first and second mating members are provided with a shielding part for preventing foreign matter produced when the first and second mating members mate from infiltrating into at least the first and second retaining members.
