Abstract:
Provided is a high-efficiency photoelectric conversion element whereby resistance loss is minimized. The photoelectric conversion element is formed with an electron transport part (2) and a positive hole transport part (3) sandwiched between a pair of electrodes (1), (1). At least one of the electron transport part (2) and the positive hole transport part (3) is covered by a porous current collector (5) which is configured from particles (4) which are arrayed one-dimensionally. The desired porosity of the porous current collector (5) is 70% or more. The porous current collector (5) preferably makes contact with the electron transport part (3) which contains a sensitizing dye. Current collecting function is improved by the porous current collector (5).
