Title:
PHOTOELECTRIC CONVERSION ELEMENT
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2014/175066
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is a photoelectric conversion element which has increased conversion efficiency by means of uniform passivation. This photoelectric conversion element converts light into electricity, and comprises a silicon substrate (101) that is provided, on at least one surface, with a recessed and projected structure having a plurality of inclined surfaces (101a). In a cross-section that is perpendicular to the line in which two adjacent inclined surfaces (101a) meet, said two inclined surfaces (101a) being adjacent to each other across a recessed portion (TXb) of the recessed and projected structure, if the bottom width (Lb) is the distance between a point (Pa) at which the tangent line of one of the two inclined surfaces (101a) and the tangent line of the deepest part of the recessed portion intersect each other and a point (Pb) at which the tangent line of the other of the two inclined surfaces (101a) and the tangent line of the deepest part of the recessed portion intersect each other, the bottom width (Lb) is 20 nm or more.
