Abstract:
A photoelectric converter according to a first embodiment of the present disclosure comprises: a first layer having a 1st first photoelectric conversion unit that converts incoming light into an electric charge; a 1st second photoelectric conversion unit that is provided so as to overlap the first layer in a first direction, and that converts light transmitted through the 1st first photelectric conversion unit into an electric charge; a second layer having a first insulation part including a first wall surface that surrounds the 1st second photoelectric conversion unit along a plane orthogonal to the first direction; and a plurality of first through electrodes that are connected to the 1st first photoelectric conversion unit, and that penetrate the second layer in a region outside the first wall surface.
