Abstract:
Provided in the embodiments of the present application are a physical layer protocol data unit (PPDU) transmission method and apparatus, which can alleviate the technical problem of waste of spectrum resources caused by a receiving end communication apparatus not sending a PPDU when the channel state of at least one of sub-channels corresponding to a resource unit that is indicated by a resource unit allocation sub-field is busy. The method comprises: a first communication apparatus being capable of receiving a trigger frame for indicating first resource units that are allocated to the first communication apparatus, and sending a PPDU on some or all of the first resource units, wherein each first resource unit is a resource unit having more than 996 sub-carriers, or each first resource unit is a multiple-resource unit (MRU), the MRU comprising at least one resource unit having 996 or more sub-carriers.
