Abstract:
The present application provides a picture processing method, apparatus, terminal device, and system for a smart terminal. The method comprises: firstly receiving a picture processing instruction; after the picture processing instruction is received, triggering to check whether an image processing engine of a smart terminal supports a predetermined processing mode; if so, requesting a serving end for a picture corresponding to the predetermined processing mode; and if not, requesting the serving end for a picture corresponding to another processing mode supported by the image processing engine. Compared with the prior art, the present application firstly detects whether an image processing engine of a smart terminal supports a predetermined processing mode before requesting a serving end for a picture, and then requests the serving end for the corresponding picture in a targeted manner, thereby implementing automatic selection of a preferred processing mode based on hardware conditions of the smart terminal. Therefore, the picture processing capability can be improved, thereby improving the running speed and smoothness of an application program, and improving the user experience.
