Title:
PIEZOELECTRIC COMPOSITION AND PIEZOELECTRIC ELEMENT
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2018/180770
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
[Problem] To provide: a piezoelectric composition able to achieve a balance between mechanical strength and electromechanical coupling coefficient k31; and a piezoelectric element comprising the piezoelectric composition. [Solution] A piezoelectric composition which contains manganese and a composite oxide having a perovskite structure represented by general formula ABO3, wherein the piezoelectric composition is characterized in that: the A site element in the ABO3 is potassium or potassium and sodium; the B site element is niobium; and in the piezoelectric composition, a variation exists in the concentration distribution of manganese, and this variation is 35-440% in terms of CV value.
