Abstract:
Provided is a piezoelectric composition that includes a complex oxide containing potassium and niobium, wherein the piezoelectric composition has excellent resistivity and the complex oxide includes a first phase represented by the composition formula KNbO3, and 1 or 2 phases selected from a second phase represented by the composition formula K4Nb6O17, and a third phase represented by the composition formula KNb3O8. Also provided is a piezoelectric element that includes the piezoelectric composition.
