Abstract:
Provided is a piezoelectric film capable of realizing higher conversion efficiency between electricity and pressure. This piezoelectric film includes: a piezoelectric layer containing piezoelectric particles and dielectric particles in a matrix containing a polymeric material; and an electrode layer disposed on both surfaces of the piezoelectric layer. The piezoelectric layer contains a fluorine-based organic substance. When a cross-section perpendicular to the principal surface of the piezoelectric layer is observed with 10 continuous fields of view by a scanning electron microscope, aggregates having an equivalent circular diameter of 5 μm or more in which several piezoelectric particles are aggregated are found to be present. The total cross-sectional area of the aggregates is 10% or less of the piezoelectric layer cross-sectional area.
