Abstract:
[Problem] To pick up a wide speed expansion range. [Solution] A speed detection device comprising: a transmission antenna array that transmits a multiplexed plurality of chirp signals between a plurality of transmission antennas arranged vertically; a reception antenna array including a plurality of reception antennas that receive the reflected plurality of chirp signals; and a speed determination unit that calculates a plurality of speed candidates on the basis of the plurality of chirp signals received by the reception antenna array, determines whether a plurality of vertical arrival angle estimation values corresponding to each of the plurality of speed candidates are included in a vertical angle threshold value range, and uses the determination result as a basis to determine one speed candidate from among the plurality of speed candidates as a true speed.
